We recently interviewed Old Lauristonian Jane Edmanson OAM (1967) as part of the Elizabeth Kirkhope Circle ‘Artistry’ webinar series.

Jane has helped generations of Australians transform their backyards into beautiful gardens. Her amazing career as a horticulturist, television presenter on Gardening Australia, former radio stations 3AK and 3MP and contributor to 3AW’s Big Backyard, has spanned more than 40 years. She is also a prolific columnist and author. 

Her contribution to the horticulture in Australia has been recognized through many awards, including the 2004 Order of Australia, 2013 Honorary Life Membership of the Horticultural Media Association of Victoria 2016 Gold Laurel and Hall of Fame Award, Horticultural Media Association Australia and 2016 Golden Wattle Award, Australian Institute of Horticulture.
